On the Carnival Pride

February 1-8, 2009 8 Days * 7 Nights

Cruising is the ultimate in relaxing vacations. All meals, entertainment and ship board activities are included in your cruise cost. Hang up your clothes for the week, mingle with radio personalities and have a great time!

ITINERARY

DAY 1, Sunday / February 1st
Your cruise adventure begins in Long Beach, California, where you can board the CARNIVAL PRIDE from 12 noon to 3:00 pm. Please be aware the ship departs Long Beach at 4:00 pm. You must be in the check in area at least one hour prior to ship departure time to make sure you get through all boarding formalities.
DAY 2, Monday / February 2nd
At SEA. For most seasoned cruisers, sea days are the very reason they cruise. They don't really care where their ship goes as long as it is an exciting adventure!
If you have not booked your shore excursions, today is the day to attend shore excursion lectures or watch them on your in-room TV. You may want to do some shore excursions with Chunga & friends! Sign up for those you want - they can be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Don't delay because some tours do sell out fast! You can speak with one of our office tour directors to be advised as to which ones normally sell out. We can also explain the different excursions to you and why some of them are our favorites. Just give us a call. As you settle into this lazy sea day, relax, watch the ocean glide by, take a leisurely swim or go to the spa and be pampered. This afternoon don't miss rubbing elbows and getting to know your favorite DJ CHUNGA & FRIENDS at
your first get together cocktail party. Laughter is good medicine, so take a BIG dose and join us for great fun.

DAY 3, Tuesday / February 3rd
AT SEA. Once again you have a full, fabulous day at sea. How about taking a dance class, play pool games or trivia, lay by the pool with a good book, find the exercise room or walk the deck. Have you found the Casino? This evening enjoy fine food and your choice of exciting entertainment.

DAY 4, Wednesday / February 4th
PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO will dazzle you with its gorgeous beaches, crystal-clear waters and glittering nightlife.

Puerto Vallarta is a popular tourist destination that retains the traditional Mexican pueblo flavor and is one of the friendliest and

most diverse beach destinations in the world. Once a tiny fishing village, Puerto Vallarta is now a world-class resort which has managed to keep the quaint charm of the original village. Stroll along the delightful beach from Malecon and stop in at one of the delightful shops along the river for those perfect souvenirs. You may see women washing their clothes in the river and burros carrying worldly goods down the streets. Check out the entertainment this evening after enjoying another great meal.
DAY 5, Thursday / February 5th
MAZATLAN, MEXICO welcomes you with the energizing fun of horseback riding, sport fishing, sailing and that most exhilarating of all sports - bargain hunting!

Each glorious sunrise greets a new day of possibilities! Isn't it everyone's dream to put their feet in the white sands and blue waters of the sea? Mazatlan is the place to do just that. Mazatlan

is a very relaxing city by a beautiful bay that offers plenty of attractions and activities. You may watch cliff divers, stroll through old Town with its restored mosaic cobble stoned streets, beautiful cathedrals and the fascinating market. You may choose an excursion to Concordia where you can watch craftsmen at work building gorgeous furniture or making beautiful pottery or a visit to Copola in the Sierra Mountains with its picturesque colonial cathedral and narrow streets. This just happens to be high season for the world-famous marlin fishing. The dining room beckons you this evening, along with superb shows - so enjoy!
DAY 6, Friday / February 6th
CABO SAN LUCAS, you'll have plenty of time to explore the beaches, rock formations and unforgettable underwater scenery. That's because CARNIVAL PRIDE - thanks to her incredible speed - is the only cruise ship that spends a full nine hours in this popular paradise.

The first thing you see is the famous, colorful Los Arcos! Watch for humpback, gray and blue whales swimming just off the coast, fish for marlin or head into the quaint town for some world-class shopping. As the ship sails from Cabo, we suggest that you enjoy

watching the playful dolphins as they jump in and around the ships wake both forward and aft. The chef is cooking up a great feast this evening for your pleasure, and the activity staff will offer diverse and fun shows and activities just for you.

DAY 7, Saturday / February 7th
AT SEA. You have the routine down by now, so what can we say? Have a great day and maximize your experience on your floating resort. Don't miss your final "fantastic" session with CHUNGA, your cruise host, who is sure to liven up your day! This evening is your last night onboard. Tomorrow it is back to cooking and cleaning and working and all that stuff!

DAY 8, Sunday / February 8th
DISEMBARK IN LOS ANGELES, CA. Reality is stark!! Didn't we promise you that you would most likely get that nasty disease, cruistis? So sit back and dream of your Paradise Vacation. You may even talk your favorite DJ, CHUNGA, into planning another getaway, for you next year.
