ITINERARY

Day 1, Wednesday, September 8th – Your affordable experience begins with an included continental breakfast (pastries, milk and juice) as you travel south to sunny St. George for your next two overnights. Dinner is included followed by an evening of amazing fun.

This evening, enjoy the live production of “Tarzan,” from the adventurous story written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan has been called one of the best known literary characters in the world. The Tarzan, Burroughs created is an extreme example of a hero flying from tree to tree with great speed and agility who wrestles with full grown apes, gorillas, rhinos, crocodiles, pythons, sharks, and tigers! Oh My! Many movies, radio shows, comic strips and comic books have been published in honor of this science fiction hero!

Tarzan is the son of a British Lord and Lady who were marooned on the West coast of Africa by mutineers. His English name is John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke. His mother died of natural

causes when he was a year old and his father was killed. Tarzan was adopted into an African tribe; and his ape mother, Kala, had a big hand in molding his incredible character.

As a young adult, Tarzan meets Jane Porter, a young American woman who along with her father and others is marooned at exactly the same spot on the African coast where his parents were twenty years earlier. When Jane returns to America, Tarzan leaves the jungle in search for his ‘one true love.’ They do marry and have one son. Tarzan becomes totally disgusted with the hypocrisy of civilization, and he and Jane return to Africa, and this becomes a base for Tarzan’s lively adventure! (CB & D)
